A potent and prodigiously rich distillation of yellow rose made with impeccable attention to every detail. Once prepared, the extract is sealed and buried in the ground for up to ten years to add further complexity. This traditional method of aging oils in earth is rarely done these days due to cost, time and patience required – making this lovely oil even more of a treat.

Did you know: Yellow roses are fairly rare. In the mid 1800’s horticulturists found excellent specimens of brilliant yellow damask roses in Syria which were taken to Europe – giving us many varieties of modern yellow damasks.
Note: What sets this Vintage Yellow Rose extract apart from all our other roses is that it contains all the therapeutic properties of the ‘old-world’ golden damask rose.
Why is that noteworthy? Yellow damasks tend to exude a richer, deeper, more complex and higher frequency of scent than any other type of rose. Firstly, they are far rarer than the pink, red and white rose varieties. The therapeutic properties of yellow damasks have shown to be much higher than other roses as well. Furthermore, the aging process maximizes on its strength and intensity even more, giving you a richer rose experience.

This essential oil is super concentrated and is meant to be applied neat, but in a very minute amount. Please exercise caution at all times.
Apply minutely to your wrists, bare shoulders, behind knees, elbows and your hair.
Don’t want to wear it? No problem. Even by simply breathing the fragrance of the oil right from the bottle can have amazing therapeutic effects on the psyche.
Consider diluting this essential oil in a carrier oil. Check out our Organic Apricot Kernel Oil. We suggest 2-3 drops of essential oil with our one-ounce bottle of Apricot Kernel Oil.
Try using this essential oil in an aromatherapy diffuser to scent your living space. Check out our Aromatherapy Copper Burner. This burner requires a very small amount of essential oil to create a beautiful aromatic experience.
Keep away from small children and pets.
We highly recommend exercising caution when applying any essential oil to your skin if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a physician if you are on any medications.
Do not apply oil on mucous membranes, broken skin, cuts and/or open wounds.

We do not suggest diluting any of our essential oils in water and/or other liquids – other than in carrier oil – to be used as a room or body spray. This is due to the potential growth of hazardous bacteria in these dilutions. Doing so may cause serious allergic and/or respiratory reactions.
