Aged Essential Oil of Plantation Grown Sandalwood* (Sandal)

CAD $119.00
Provenance: Karnataka State, South India
This aged distillation is smooth all the way. Distilled from older sandalwood trees, you’ll find this oil to be rich and very refined. The energetic fragrance you encountered in our India Sandalwood (oil distilled from younger trees) is replaced here with an elegance and sincerity of mature santalol – think vintage artisanal cognac with a touch of allspice … Sealed in stone jars to give it further depth and complexity. You’re welcome.

First off: it means a lot that this is sustainable. I cannot overstate that. Second: It’s one of the best sandalwoods I’ve experienced. Its a very good base for other perfumes I think but also very good on its own.
