Suggestions
This essential oil is concentrated and is meant to be applied neat, but in a minute amount. Exercise caution.
Apply to your wrists, bare shoulders, behind knees, elbows and your hair.
Don’t want to wear it? No problem. Even by simply breathing the scent right from the bottle can have big therapeutic effects on the psyche.
You may dilute the oil in a carrier oil like our Organic Apricot Kernel Oil. We suggest 2-3 drops of any oil with our 1 oz bottle of Apricot Kernel Oil.
Consider using this essential oil in our Aromatherapy Copper Burner. This burner requires a very small amount of essential oil to create a beautiful aromatic experience.
Keep away from children and pets.
Exercise caution when applying any essential oil to your skin if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor if you are on any medications.
Do not apply this oil on broken skin, mucous membranes or open wounds.
Do not ingest this oil. If ingested, contact your physician immediately.
Do not dilute essential oils in water to be used as a room or body spray. This is due to the potential growth of hazardous bacteria. Doing so may cause adverse reactions.
Although made to be worn on skin, this oil may cause skin irritation in some individuals. A patch test is highly recommended prior to use.

I don’t usually buy oils online unless I know exactly what I’m getting because of some bad experiences in the past getting stuck with products I don’t like – however I couldn’t resist the write-up of this particular attar so just had to get it. Well, this was one blind purchase that I will never regret. I do love anise-licorice type scents but if that’s not a scent you like then this oil is not for you. It is very sexy and commands a lot of attention! I’ve worn it during the day and also evenings and I agree with Durga’s suggestion: it smells exquisite at night!

Umrao – One of my absolute favourites! It is incredibly layered, with deep, sensual, spiced deliciousness. Surprisingly light, and an oil that I just can’t get enough of. A “non-perfume perfume,” and although exotic, completely recognizable for Northern European licorice lovers.

Whenever I wear this my partner calls it my “Root beer perfume” I can definitely see that because it is absolutely a mix of medicinal herbs like anise, nutmeg, clove. But it is not at all immature or sweet though and not gourmand. I think this is my sexiest most confident fragrance. It just feels like it needs to be worn on a hot sticky humid night. I often wear it with orissa black musk and that is a winning combination, it makes it even deeper and sexier. I absolutely love this it is rich and sophisticated.
