Suggestions
This essential oil is concentrated and is meant to be applied neat, but in a minute amount. Exercise caution.
Apply to your wrists, bare shoulders, behind knees, elbows and your hair.
Don’t want to wear it? No problem. Even by simply breathing the scent right from the bottle can have big therapeutic effects on the psyche.
You may dilute the oil in a carrier oil like our Organic Apricot Kernel Oil. We suggest 2-3 drops of any oil with our 1 oz bottle of Apricot Kernel Oil.
Consider using this essential oil in our Aromatherapy Copper Burner. This burner requires a very small amount of essential oil to create a beautiful aromatic experience.
Keep away from children and pets.
Exercise caution when applying any essential oil to your skin if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor if you are on any medications.
Do not apply this oil on broken skin, mucous membranes or open wounds.
Do not ingest this oil. If ingested, contact your physician immediately.
Do not dilute essential oils in water to be used as a room or body spray. This is due to the potential growth of hazardous bacteria. Doing so may cause adverse reactions.
Although made to be worn on skin, this oil may cause skin irritation in some individuals. A patch test is highly recommended prior to use.

Look No Further
Frank Byrne –
I have been a fan of frankincense since the 70’s and have tried numerous types over the years from different sources. Middle eastern, Indian etc. This one here is by far the most superior frankincense oils I have ever encountered. Thank you for such a quality product.

Excellent Quality
Ariana –
I have always loved frankincense but I’ve never come across one that smells this good. I didn’t even know that frankincense comes from Africa. I’ve only smelled the ones from the middle East which are good, but not as good as this one. I took your advice and also got the Somalian Myrrh to wear with the frankincense oil. They do really make a great combo and smell so good together.

My husband and I love to use this oil before we meditate. It calms the mind and provides a spiritual space to move deep inside. It’s rich and deep and a little goes a long way.

Gratitude & Appreciation
Fred W. –
My 3 older brothers and I visited an oil shop in Cairo, Egypt. The salesman introduced me to the name of an oil but said, if you`re lucky you`ll eventually find it. So, 41 years later, I connect with an online article by Alanis Morissette. In the article, she’s sharing healing modalities and oils she incorporates on her off days while on tour. Her article goes onto say that she found this special place with a great vibe: Durga Interiors. Then she said Somali Frankincense which happens to be second to none. That`s the name I received in Cairo but never mentioned it to a soul. Miracles do happen! The attars from Durga Interiors are the purest attars I`ve ever tried in my life. I`m in LOVE with their oils!!! Thank you, Durga Interiors!

Beautiful scent
Shaza Elnour (verified owner) –
I bought a vial about 2 years ago and I’ve started using it now!
I mix it in with base body lotion and use it on special occasions, it smells divine! It’s definitely more on the citrusy side, but it’s quite a complex smell – incredibly happy with my purchase❤️

Frankincense has many facets depending on its origin and method of oil distillation. Some dark, some bright, lemony, sweet, resinous, smokey, nutty and woody to name a few. This Somali frankincense oil has got to be the most gourmand of so many that I have smelled throughout the years. This oil has highlighted notes of warm, sweet and nutty; almost like a freshly baked almond cake! It’s certainly a unique frankincense that deserves a place in a spot in any collectors and lovers of fragrances. It projects big and lasts eternally on the skin too!

Perfect Healer
Revvie –
I love this oil. It’s so versatile that it could be called the swiss army knife of essential oils: skin injuries, wounds, burns, rashes you name it. I carry my bottle in my purse along with some of my other Durga favorites such as Holy Basil, Red Turmeric and of course my Indian Lavender.

Very pleasant. I find it generally more appealing than any other frankincense oil/resins I have come across tbh. Definitely a favorite.
