this attar is so spectacular! I especially love to meditate with it as it makes me feel as if I’m somewhere really warm and tropical. I have so many durga oils now, but this is one of my all time favorites. If you like “nature scents” then get Nilofer. You won’t be disappointed.

When my boyfriend and I originally walked into here we were looking for a basic incense holder and ended up leaving with so much more. Ray, the owner, gave us such a genuine and passionate tour of the essential oils that he carries and lends his time to you to smell and explore scents that suit your specific needs. I ended up picking up the Nilofer Attar oil – the way it was described may sound like a poetic line – “the smell of still, calmed water” – but there’s no better way to describe it. This scent fills up your lungs with such freshness that it feels hydrating, and the subtle yet unmistakable notes of flora that seem as though it rests on a quiet waterbed. I have been using this scent in the evening and the environmental shift is unmistakable – it brings such a calmness to you that it is the perfect scent to wind down at the end of the day.
What’s also unbelievable about this oil (and other oils of this quality) is the potency. A small, pinprick amount on a toothpick swished in the water of your diffuser is all you need. I was extremely skeptical at first since every other oil I had I’d need 3-5 drops just to get a decent smell, But it’s true – you can add more for the intensity, of course, but you need next to nothing for the smell & benefits to flood your room. Unbelievable! I’ve been raving and recommending this place to everyone I know. I truly don’t think I can look at other oils the same again. I can’t wait to come back and get more!
