Note: Emperor Jahangir was well known for his profound love for flowers – his favorite being the jasmine. He brought in numerous exotic flowers from all throughout Eurasia to grace his multiple gardens. In fact, it’s claimed that it is Jahangir who is responsible for some of the many flowers found in northern India today!
Why is that noteworthy? Jahangir loved Kashmir and summered there. He had his horticulturists crossbreed scented grandiflorum jasmine from his royal gardens in Delhi with the exotic snow-resistant, but unscented star jasmine (that he had collected from Tibet) in his Kashmir Palace. After many attempts, a robust and exceptionally fragrant jasmine called ‘Imperial Blue’ was born. With his vision Jahangir was immortalized – not just as a skilled emperor, but also as one of the leading innovators in the field of botany.

This essential oil is super concentrated and is meant to be applied neat, but in a very minute amount. Please exercise caution at all times.
Apply minutely to your wrists, bare shoulders, behind knees, elbows and your hair.
Don’t want to wear it? No problem. Even by simply breathing the fragrance of the oil right from the bottle can have amazing therapeutic effects on the psyche.
Consider diluting this essential oil in a carrier oil. Check out our Organic Apricot Kernel Oil. We suggest 2-3 drops of essential oil with our one-ounce bottle of Apricot Kernel Oil.
Try using this essential oil in an aromatherapy diffuser to scent your living space. Check out our Aromatherapy Copper Burner. This burner requires a very small amount of essential oil to create a beautiful aromatic experience.
Keep away from small children and pets.
We highly recommend exercising caution when applying any essential oil to your skin if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a physician if you are on any medications.

I love jasmine and this oil by far is the best jasmine scent I have ever owned. Rich and complex but very light and ethereal at the same time. I wear Durga’s Jasmine Attar more on a daily basis and this one is my go-to for all my special occasions. Don’t think twice about this one.. it won’t disappoint!
