Provenance:  Manipur State, Eastern India

Chances are high that you have either never smelled Manipur oud before or you have, at best, experienced it in an oil blend.  And this is even if you are an avid oud connoisseur.  Reason is this part of the world is becoming industrialized and agarwood plantations are not what they used to be.  Luckily, we came across some old stock that was stored and forgotten about.  Lush accords of old spice jars, dark fruits and citrus peel.  Enjoy.
